As Scott has the desire to push himself to the limits, he often put himself in situations that offer great photographic experiences. Living at the base of the Sierra's, offers him plenty of opportunities to shoot various activities year around. In addition to his backyard playground (the Sierra's) Scott travels extensively looking for challenges and inspirational images. In addition to Scott's passion for adventure, he has been a lifelong athlete. Engaging in athletic activities from the time he was five, Scott has participated in many sports as a youth, during high school, and during college. This has enabled Scott to pursue athletic photography with the eye of an athlete. His desire is to capture the essence of athletic competition, by not only photographing the action itself, but by looking for and photographing the emotion within each competitor. Scott has had a passion for photography, athletics, and outdoor adventure for many years, so this endeavor has afforded him the greatest opportunity possible, to make a living out of his hobbies.

Scott Westover is a professional photographer with the talent to capture

extreme activities but to raise our awareness of the natural beauty
