My name is Ron Malcolm and I am the head Volleyball and head Baseball Coach at Wooster High School, and I have worked with NSSP since 2001. I have been coaching both sports since 1989 and have used many other photography people to take my team pictures and though they provided a service it was just alright. Since going to NSSP in 2001, I can honestly say that NSSP, goes above and beyond those other companies. They take their time, they allow the athlete to find the right pose that they want for their individual portraits so they are not locked in to one pose. Their turn-around time is extremely fast, and they will customize any background that you want if you don't have the right setting that you want. They will do action shots of your teams, if you so desire which is a great thing for our parents. Scott Westover and Company continues to go above and beyond, and if your school, sport, or company is not using NSSP then you are definitely missing out. NSSP is also a local company that does not have to answer to a parent corporation, so the money spent on quality photography is kept in northern nevada.

I have been coaching for twenty three years in various schools and for various sports. I have worked with at least a dozen different sports teams photographers. About eight years ago, I was introduced to Scott Westover of NSSP and have used him for our team and individual pictures since then. I’m writing this letter to encourage any and all of you to use NSSP for all of your Team/School needs. I have worked with Scott and his staff for over 5 years now and they have always given me the personal attention that my team has required. No job is too big or too small. They will take your team and individual photos where ever you want them. They shot our soccer team once at dusk on top of Shadow Mountain. It was windy one night and instead of just shooting the pictures to “get it done”, we rescheduled the very next night. They always works within our team’s schedule and give the players a lot of picture package options to choose from. They also shoot pictures in whatever poses the girls and the team request. The quality of NSSP’s pictures is unparalleled. Having been forced to use other photographers that the school has chosen for us, I can tell you that the quality of NSSP’s work far outshines those of other local photographers. After winning our third straight state championship, I asked Scott and his staff to shoot our team and individual players. What they did with those pictures was amazing!! The creative and unique settings that they utilize accentuated our team and individual shots. They have also done thank you cards for our soccer fundraiser. They did them for the best price, and the quality of the cards was far and away ahead of anything I have seen done by anyone else in this area. The best thing about NSSP is that I don’t feel like a client, I feel like THE client. Their personal touch and willingness to do what you want is unrivaled. If I was in charge of a school, a league, or something a little smaller, I would be using NSSP.

I take this opportunity to provide my League's experiences with Scott Westover of Nevada School & Sports Photography. Since 2003, the Sierra Girls Softball League has had a fine relationship with NSSP. We all appreciate the quality of service as well as a delightful selection of memorabilia products. NSSP has on every occasion fulfilled their responsibilities, including a perfect record of dependability. In all these years, NSSP has not once failed to meet their appointment times. Additionally, the selection of products and attention to detail bespeaks the obvious pride and integrity that NSSP strives for. As a past President and Board member for years with SGSL, I have not heard one complaint from any family regarding the accuracy or quality of the photographic work. As a final note, I'll revisit an occasion from 2007; At the time I was in charge of the Softball program at North Valleys High School. As always, Scott met his obligation to do the shoots for both the Varsity and JV Softball teams, but the day involved was windy. At my request, Scott shot me with a student I had a long history with, going back to her earlier days in Sierra Girls Softball League; But the weather would have raised havoc with the girls' hair among other things, so out of integrity alone, and at his own expense, Scott rescheduled the entire shoot of our teams. This kind of conducting business, un-mistakeably shows how much they truly cares for their clients. Integrity and quality are sadly rare these days, but not so with NSSP. I have no problem recommending their services to any group or individual.

During the fall of 2008, Reno High Soccer had the opportunity to work with Westover Photography. Scott assisted us on a project that provided team unity and spirit as well as local recognition for Reno High Soccer, Reno Police and Reno Fire. The project was a calendar with a picture of the Reno High Soccer players and coaches, under the downtown Reno arch. We were going to have the photo taken the day before the 2008-09 school year began. Coordinating these three organizations, along with all the students and parents that needed to be apart of this event, was a huge undertaking. Scott and his partner handled the situation well and as expeditiously as possible. Even having to add the Reno Fire Dept. into the photo (who arrived quite late due to a call) did not diminish their professional attitude. Westover provided the quality photography and editing necessary to provide all those involved with a memory to be proud of. It is displayed in all the faces of the over 40 people in the photo. I recommend Westover without reservation, to anyone who wants a project they can be proud to display.

I have worked with the NSSP team for several years. Scott’s team is incredibly professional and fun to work with. They go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want. They will take full camp shots, family photos in your team garb, buddy shots, or let you do your own poses until you run out of ideas. One year it got cloudy and dark so some pictures didn’t have the quality Scott demands so he came to our practice and took retakes. Most companies would have just released the pictures and not said a word. The action shots they take at games and cheer competitions really capture the action and intensity of the moment.
