NSSP's origins date back to the year 2000, when Scott Westover formed Westover Photography. With Scott's vision, Westover Photography quickly became Northern Nevada's pre-eminent sports photography company. In 2006 Scott changed the company name to Nevada School & Sport Photography. Currently NSSP is the largest locally owned and operated school and sports photography company. With our proven workflow in the sports leagues they have transitioned into a leading company in school portraits.

In 2009 we reactivated the Westover Photography name by launching a new division for family and children portaits. With our years of experience in the natural environment and our new state of the art studio, we can now provide our customers with the high-end boutique portraits at reasonable prices.

Our new vision is to become your photography resource. With the advent of our monthly newsletter we will be sending out monthly tips on photography that you can use while photographing your own family or vacations. We will be offering clinics and workshops in a variety of areas that we know our customers want. In addition to our monthly newsletter, our customers have the abillity to register for the leagues or schools they are involved with that we photograph, then as information pertaining to the portaits to those leagues or schools is available they will be emailed with updates. From the scheduled date for portraits, to the make-up date, to our delivery of pictures to the league or school, our customers will be notified of the process, alleviating some of the pressure off of the league or school administration.

At NSSP we are continually updating our technology and taking our service beyond the norm for our industry. We embrace all forms of technology from our website, our private server, to our latest camera gear, all in the name of providing our customers with the absolute best images and customer service at a reasonable rate.
